Registration: 2026/301064/07
SARS Tax Reference: 9154656293
Information Officer: Darko Franić

2. What We Do
We connect community groups to wholesale grocery prices and place your order with a supplier (Jumbo Cash & Carry). We are a platform, not the shop. We pay organisers a cash reward via Ozow.
3. Who Can Use Vula
You must be 18 or older to place an order.
4. Your Money & Rewards
Payment: Secure processing via Ozow.
Reward: you earn 5% of your group's order value, rounded down to the nearest R50, up to R1 500 per order.
Paid to your bank after full payment is confirmed, your share is completed, and your group's order is collected.
5. Your Information (POPIA)
We collect your name and phone number, only to process and identify your order.
We share limited data with Ozow (payment) and Google Firebase (secure storage). Some data may be stored on servers outside South Africa, with protection comparable to POPIA.
We never sell your information.
Your rights: ask us to access, correct or delete your information anytime.

You may complain to the Information Regulator: www.inforegulator.org.za
6. Payment, Cancellation & Refunds
When you pay, your order is final. Food cannot be refunded if you change your mind.
If a product has a problem (for example it is spoiled or unsafe), the supplier handles it under their returns policy and the Consumer Protection Act — the same as at a Shoprite, Checkers or Jumbo store.
Vula refunds you only if we took your payment but could not place your order at all.

Sometimes a shop runs out of stock. If this happens and we cannot get your order, we pay you back in full. You get your money back within 15 business days.
7. Our Limits
We are a platform only. We don't supply groceries, provide delivery, or handle stock. Product quality and safety are the supplier's responsibility. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
8. Disputes
Contact us first: hello@vulahq.co.za
Escalate to: Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (www.cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission
